  1. Myview4u helps you to objectively record and understand your opinion/view about anything.
  2. As opposed to a gut feeling, Myview4u makes you record your observations against multiple Pointss.
  3. The questions and the weight assigned to each question can be changed by a user.
    1. Let us say you are recording your views about a City. “Public Transport Facility” may be very important to one user but less important to another.
  4. The aggregated view can be used in multiple ways including tracking how the view evolves over time, optionally shared with one or more people to evolve a collective view.

How is myview4u Different?

  1. Points may be added, modified, or deleted. Most opinion gathering tools (e.g. a survey) do not allow adding Points (even though that Point may be very important to a user).
  2. Opinion gathering tools are designed from the point of view of an external entity. Myview4u is designed to be ego-centric.
    1. Thus, weights assigned to questions in a typical survey are fixed (and unknown to the user) – they reflect the importance placed by the external entity on that question. In myview4u, weights to questions are assigned by a user reflecting the importance the user places on that question
  3. A user can create a closed group, optionally share his or her views with the closed group. Analytics in myview4u allow for an aggregated view based on the participants views
  4. A user can create multiple views about an entity over time and evaluate how his or her views are changing
    1. Could be used to track almost anything including relationships; Self Esteem; Manager; City, School…

Myview4u Features

  1. Myview4u is available on the mobile and on the web (can be accessed using a desktop, laptop etc..)
  2. Users can create closed groups (an option exists to invite people from popular social network platforms to join myview4u and, subsequently, the closed group)
  3. A large number of categories with questions and weights for each question are predefined. The user can add custom questions for a review and change the weight assigned to each question. Also user can discard any question by choosing relevance “Not Relevant”
  4. A predefined set of analytics/reports are available to aggregate individual views or the views of the closed group
    1. E.g. a user can compare any 2 reviews in the same category. Thus, if a user completed a review of City A and another of City B, the user can choose to compare the 2 reviews
    2. E.g. A user may want to compare their review of Online Portal done 5 months ago to the one done yesterday
  5. Captive deployments possible for companies

How do I Sign-In?

  1. Enter your Myview4u User ID and Password to Sign In.
  2. Alternatively, you can also use your Facebook ID or Google ID to sign in.

How do I create a Myview4u account?

  1. Creating a Myview4u account is easy and requires entering only very basic information.
  2. You can also use MyView4u using your Facebook ID or Google ID.

How do I Update my Profile?

  1. Go to Home Page.
  2. Click the Profile Icon on the Top-Right of the screen or Select the Profile option from Menu.
  3. Click on Edit Profile Button.
  4. Update Profile Details.
  5. Click on Save Button.

What is Profile Type?

There are 2 types of Profiles - Public and Private.

  1. If Profile type is Public, then other myview4u users can search and view your profile. They can also send you connection requests.
  2. If profile type is Private then other myview4u users cannot search and view your profile details. They also cannot send you a connection request.

How do I Change my Sign-in Password?

Users who have Signed-Up on myview4u can change their Sign-In Password (not applicable for users who Sign-In with Facebook ID or Google ID)

  1. Go to the Home Page
  2. Click on the Profile Icon in the top-right corner of the screen or Select Profile option from the Menu.
  3. Click on Edit Profile Button.
  4. Click on Change Password Button.
  5. Type New Password and Retype New Password to validate.
  6. Click on Change Password Button.
  7. A notification will be send to your registered Email ID.

How do I Create a New Review?

To create a New Review,

  1. Go to Home Page
  2. Go to "Manage Reviews" Section
  3. Click on "New Review" Button
  4. Select Category from List.
  5. Enter Entity/Reviewee Name.
  6. Complete the review points.
  7. Click on Submit Button or Save as Draft Button if you want to submit the review later.

How do I Share My Reviews with my Connections?

There are 2 ways to Share your review.

  1. When you submit a New Review Successfully.
    1. Click on Share Button from the Result Panel.
    2. Select People from your Connection List.
    3. Click on Share Button.
  2. From Dashboard.
    1. Click on the Dashboard Button in "Manage Review" section at Home Page.
    2. Identify the Review which you want to share with your connections.
    3. Click on the View button
    4. Click on Share Button in Report.
    5. Select People from your Connection List.
    6. Click on Share Button.

How do I Send a Review Report to my Registered Email ID?

There are 2 ways.

  1. When you submit a New Review Successfully.
    1. Click on the Email Button from Result Panel.
  2. From the Dashboard.
    1. Click on the Dashboard Button in "Manage Review" section at Home Page.
    2. Identify the Review which you want to Email.
    3. Click on the View button
    4. Click on the Email Button in Report.

How do I Download a Review Report?

There are 2 ways to download your review.

  1. When you submit a New Review Successfully.
    1. Click on Download Button from Result Panel.
  2. From the Dashboard.
    1. Click on the Dashboard Button in "Manage Review" section at Home Page.
    2. Identify the Review which you want to Download.
    3. Click on the View button
    4. Click on the Download Button in Report.

How to I Delete a Review?

Review once deleted can’t be recovered.

  1. Click on Dashboard Button in "Manage Review" section in the Home Page.
  2. Identify the Review which you want to delete.
  3. Click on Delete Button from Action.

How do I Compare 2 Reviews in the Same Category?

You can compare any 2 of your reviews in the same category.

  1. Go to the Home Page
  2. Go to "Manage Reviews" Section
  3. Click on "Compare Reviews" Button.
  4. Select Category
  5. Choose any two Reviews from the List
  6. Click on the Compare Button.
  7. View the compare report. You can also click on Email, Download and Share Button if desired.

What Does Compare 2 Reviews Mean?

  1. You can Compare Reports in a tablular format (Review Points, Relevance, My view for both the reviews)
  2. Custom review points added for the first review would be treated as Blank for second review and Custom review points added for second review would be treated as Blank for the first review.
  3. Score for both reviews would be shown as-is at the bottom of the screen.

How to “Share and Invite People to Join myview4u” via Facebook?

  1. Go to the Home Page.
  2. Go to "Share and Invite People to join myview4u" section.
  3. Click on the Facebook Button.
  4. Sign In to Facebook, Select your friends and Share/Post the Message.

How to “Share and Invite People to join Myview4u” via Twitter?

  1. Go to the Home Page
  2. Go to "Share and Invite People to join myview4u" section.
  3. Click on the Twitter Button.
  4. Sign In to Twitter and Share/Post the Message.

How to “Share and Invite People to join Myview4u” via LinkedIn?

  1. Go to the Home Page.
  2. Go to "Share and Invite People to join myview4u" section.
  3. Click on the LinkedIn Button.
  4. Sign In to LinkedIn and Share/Post the Message.

How do I “Share and Invite People to join Myview4u” via Whatsapp?

This Option will only work when you are Signed In on myview4u from Mobile Devices.

  1. Go to the Home Page.
  2. Go to "Share and Invite People to join myview4u" section.
  3. Click on the Whatsapp Button. Whatsapp window would popup.
  4. Select your contacts from Whatsapp contact List and Share/Post the Message.

How to “Share and Invite People to join Myview4u” via Email?

  1. Go to the Home Page.
  2. Go to "Share and Invite People to join myview4u" section.
  3. Click on the Email Option.
  4. Type Email id (use “,” incase of multiple email id’s) and click on the Invite Button.

How do I Send a Connection Request to Other myview4u Users?

This Option will only work when you are Signed In on myview4u from Mobile Devices.

  1. Type the Person Name in the Search Panel on Top.
  2. Identify the person and click on the view Button.
  3. View the Profile Details and click on the Connect button.

How do I Take Actions on a Connection Request Sent to me by Other myview4u Users?

This Option will only work when you are Signed In on myview4u from Mobile Devices.

  1. Go to the Profile Page.
  2. Go to the "Received Connection Request" Panel.
  3. Click on Accept or Reject as desired for each request

How Do I View the Profile Details of myview4u Users?

You can view the Profile Details of any myview4u user if their Profile Type is Public.

  1. Type the Person Name in the Search Panel on Top.
  2. Identify the person and click on the View Button.
  3. View the Profile Details.

How to Send a Review Request to My Connections?

  1. Go to Home Page
  2. Go to "Manage Reviews" Section
  3. Click on "Invite for Review" Button.
  4. Select your connections as Reviewers.
  5. Type Reviewee Name
  6. Click on "Send Request" Button.

What does “Review Point” Mean?

A “Review Point” corresponds to a "Question" against which a review is entered.

What does “Category” Mean?

Myview4u pre-populated with many Categories. Each Category have pre-defined set of carefully curated Review Points based on our research that are relevant to that Cateogry. We regularly introduce new categories. Some examples are Friend, Relative, Neighbour, Colleague, Manager, Supplier, Business Partner, City, School and College/University etc.

What does “Relevance” Mean?

Relevance is importance that is assigned to Review Point. User can assign/modify the importance to each Review Point based on how important the Review point is to user. In case, a Review Point is not relevant, user can choose the “Not Relevant” option which means that point will not be considered for Review. Relevance can be Very High, High, Medium, Low, Very Low and Not Relevant

What is "Not Relevant" in the Relevance List?

If a user feels a Review Point is not applicable or the user does not want to consider that point for his/her review then the user can select the "Not Relevant" option from Relevance List. Doing so also removes the Point from Review.

What does “My View” Mean?

My View is the User’s Opinion for the Review Point. This is a must attribute provide by the user.

What is a “Dashboard”

Users can view both "Reviews List" and "Request for Reviews List" from the Dashboard. For “Past Reviews” user can perform Deletion, View Report, Share, Download, Email Actions.

  3. Click on the "Dashboard" Button.

What is a "Review Dashboard"?

Review Dashboard is the Consolidated List of the Reviews Done across categories by the user.

How to “Add Your Point" in New Review Page?

While entering a New Review, a user may realize that a Review Point is not available in the list of Review Points but which is important to the user. In this case, user can add point by "Click to add more points" button.

How to Disconnect your Connection from “My Connections List”?

  1. Click on "My Connection List" Button.
  2. Identify the Connection and Click on the View Button.
  3. Click on the Disconnect Button in the View Profile Page.

How to Build a Network on Myview4u?

There are 2 ways to build a network.

  1. A user can search people and send a connection request on Myview4u.
  2. Others can send you connection request and you need to “Accept” the request from Profile Page.

How to View Notifications?

  1. Go to Notification Icon located on the top right of the page. Most recent notifications are shown first.
  2. Notifications may be related to,
    1. New connection requests.
    2. New Review requests from your connections.
    3. Your connection request was accepted by a .
    4. System generated messages of relevance to the broad MyView4U community

How is the Score computed?

The score is based on the Selection of Relevance (Weightage) and My View (Opinion) by a user for each review point. Myview4u follow a weightage based approach to generate the score.
